Description
Port Haverigg is a one-of-a-kind holiday park on the coast of Cumbria, near the western Lake District. With a selection of holiday homes, including static caravans and luxury lodges for both sale and rent, you can find the perfect fit for your budget. The park is uniquely arranged, with almost two-thirds of the plots offering water views, and some even have private moorings for boats.
Amenities & Activities
Our park is built around a private, 200-acre freshwater lake, the only one in the Lake District without speed restrictions. This makes it a perfect spot for water sports enthusiasts. There's a lively Ski Bar and Ski School, where you can find equipment and lessons for wakeboarding or take the kids on a banana boat ride. With year-round water sports events and competitions, there is always something to see. For a quieter day, the park is bordered by the RSPB Hodbarrow Nature Reserve, which is ideal for a walk.
Exploring the Local Area
Just a five-minute walk from the park is a beautiful coastline, rated by The Mirror as the UK’s 3rd Best Hidden Beach, with miles of sandy dunes and a beach café. The nearby town of Millom has all the essentials you might need, from supermarkets to a petrol station. Further afield, you can drive to Lake Windermere, the Lakeland Motor Museum, or the charming town of Ambleside, all within an hour's drive.
